The castle grounds of Schönbrunn are within walking distance from the apartment.
If you are into running it's especially nice in the summer to go for an early morning run to Schönrbunn before tourists swarm the place.
In the early morning take the main entrance. This gives an impressive-feeling when the castle square is empty and you can run in the middle of the road towards the castle as if it's built for yourself.
Later in the day or in the evening, take the hidden side entrance on the very right of Schönbrunn, this is closer to the apartment. Directly after the entrance, you are surrounded by a lush alley of trees.
