If you like Mexican food, this food truck is a must try! I will say though that they're wait can be long. I suggest ordering your food online on yelp and then eating it around the back of the truck to enjoy their ambiance. Everything is made fresh and so tasty! My personal favorite is their taco salad, my husband loves their nacho fries.

I would say the best local dine in restaurant on the North Shore. Food is amazing and you may even spot a famous surfer or two :)

One of my favorite places on the island to get a smoothie or açaí bowl. Adding fresh local papaya to my bowl is always my favorite. You can't go wrong here -Everything on the menu is good!

Beaches

This beach is just a short walk from our place and you can not visit this beach without seeing a sea turtle! They are everywhere - watch for the heads popping out of the water. Also a very kid friendly beach. Doesn't normally get waves.

Great beach for beginner surfers if theres not a big swell. This is where lots of local families go to have a great time and share in the fun of surfing together as a family! (Not that great of a beach for swimming)

One of my favorite beaches on the island and just a short drive away. During the summer the heat is real here and the water is as clear and refreshing as it gets! For winter months the waves are very strong and is not a swimmable beach, but it is fun to visit and watch the swell and brave surfers in awe.

Sightseeing

A great place to go and learn more about Polynesian culture first hand. Learn how to husk a coconut, see the Tahitians shake it, and indulge in some tradition Polynesian foods.
