Convenient comfort Italian food right around the corner from the house. Garlic knots and their house-made spaghetti are musts.

Creole breakfast in a small house off of Pearl St downtown. Incredible food, especially the beignets. The line can be rough during peak hours.

Great portions, and 99¢ mimosas and bloody marys. I go for the skillets every time.

One of the best restaurants in Boulder. They're always changing the menu, and everything is excellent. Certainly one of the more expensive restaurants however.

Very cool arcade bar. Play some 4-person Pacman while having a drink. Old favorites like Paperboy too! Also great for dancing on the weekends.

Excellent beers, but strong! Not recommended for your first day at elevation :) Awesome vibe with the community tables.

Upscale bar, speakeasy-esque. Very talented bartenders. You can order from a limited menu from Spruce Farm & Fish upstairs. Try the truffle fries or Brussels Sprouts.

There are a ton of breweries in Boulder, but Avery is the most impressive. They have a ton of great beers on tap and the building, built in 2015, is a great place to have a drink.

Parks & Nature
There are a few trails from the Chautauqua Trailhead, but my favorite is the flatiron loop. If you want to challenge yourself though, go for the 1st/2nd flatiron peak trail. Make sure you drink a ton of water before, during, and after your hike. Sometimes the elevation causes headaches, if that happens, drink even more water!
