This is the NEW PORT of Mykonos. When somebody arrives at Mykonos Island there is good change that the boat and especially high speed 2 , high speed 3 ,high speed 4 ,high speed 5, arrives at the new port of Mykonos at Tourlos Beach area . If you arrive at the new port you must take a taxi that is hard to find by calling ay +302289023700 or by bus that will take you to the old port of Mykonos at Mykonos Town . If you have reserved a hotel or a room you may ask for transfer the hotelier . Almost every hotel in Mykonos have a small or big bus for these needs. In a walking distance you will find the Mathew tavern a mini cafe for a coffee until you depart from Mykonos .

Mykonos Airport Mykonos Island GREECE - Arriving at the airport of Mykonos
It was a small airport but it is not anymore . Mykonos airport is international and airplanes arrive from all over the world during the summer time. Mykonos town is only 2.5 km away from MYKONOS AIRPORT and you can get there by taxi that you can found across the arrival gate. If there is no taxi waiting you can see the sign with the phone numbers of the taxi radio office so you may call and the taxi will be there for you. You may have to wait a little because there are no so many taxis at Mykonos Island but you will get yours if you call for these numbers :+302289023700 or +30228902240 . At the arrival area of the airport you may find an ATM BANK, public phones a post box the office of the hoteliers association of Mykonos the Olympic Airlines Office and many car rental companies .

From there you may see all the boats arriving and departing Mykonos .Tinos island looks like it is next to you from there .the lighthouse Armenistis is at the northeast of the island and 7 km away from Mykonos Town . You can get there by following the sings to Fanari .
This lighthouse (Armenistis) was manufactured in 1891. The altitude of tower is 19 metres and the height of focal plane is 184 metres.
The access to the lighthouse becomes roadly from Saint Stefanos. The mechanism of first lamp of "Armenistis" is exposed outside by the building of Aegean Naval Museum that is located in a traditional building of 19th century, in centre of Mykonos, near to place Three Wells (Tria Pigadia).
