We like Brussels' Palais de Justice. It's more impressive than actually beautiful, but from there you have a nice view over Brussels, and then you can take the elevator down to the Marolles neighborhood.

The flea market is open every day until 2 PM, and is at the end of the Marolles neighborhood which is especially nice if you like second hand and antiques shops (often only open during the weekend).

Even if you're not interested in music, it's worth passing by this museum just for its architecture. The restaurant on the roof offers a great view over Brussels (and is a great excuse to see the building from the inside).
