Popular locally, family owned (not part of the American chain !) Bery family orientated .Can be busy, though, so France Manco around the corner can be a quieter choice.

4 minute walk, known for its oven fired sour dough pizzas, reasonably priced. Less crowded than Olive Garden but this is because it is adjacent to another Italian and next to a Fish and Chips Restaurant and thus somewhat less obvious.

Good local Thai, owned by the same family as The Thai Girder who operated here for over 20 years. Authentic Thai food.

Been very popular with guests who like it's fresh produce. You can " bring your own bottle", from the Wine Shop or Tesco, both beside it, so economical also.

If you want something special, this famous restaurant is the place to be. The food is first class, procu yet not extortionate. As it is impossible to get a table in the Ivy in central London, it is a joy to be able to get thr same food locally. ( Generally you do need to book a day in advance )

we eat there regularly and it is a top class Thai Restaurant. It is favoured by the Tennis Stars and you can see their various pictures on the wall. They also do takeaway but you have to collect.
