In heart of campustown..,,Out of this world, the absolute best Kung Pao Chicken. The owner manager may seen grouchy but she is really shy. Egg rolls are nice and crispy. General Tso's chicken is also nixe and crunchy and not soggy. Good free soup with order of food. Fast and served to you at the table. Has been in Ames since 1980's.

The best BBQ in Ames with meat that literally falls off the bone. Superb pork tenderloin sandwich (quite mammoth!). Fun atmosphere.

If you can't find it here . . . from health food to booze, to Iowa beef to Anderson Erickson's famous cottage cheese and dips, then you'll have a hard time finding it anywhere else. Stock up the kitchen pantries with loads of delicious food, groceries and beverages and enjoy your time in our home!
