Other than a railways bus and sensible car rental
Other than a Trailways bus and sensible car rental, there is no public transportation and No Ubers, but all the basic amenities are in walking distance to the apartments.

If you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes ;)
The weather can change quickly here, we kind of have our own climate, it could be hot during the day and cool off quickly when the sun goes down or not.
Be prepared with proper footwear for outdoor activities with possible mud, snow or uneven ground.
Layering of clothes is always best!
Winter weather can change quickly from no snow to snowy make sure you and your car are prepared.
No matter the weather though its a beautiful place no matter the season.

Everything here in the Catskills runs on its own time, laid back, and in no rush to go anywhere. When you are somewhere so pretty why rush? That's why you need to plan everything ahead of time, including where you'd like to eat and make sure it's open, if there is something you'd like to do, you should plan ahead and check the weather.
