Take a stroll across the dunes to beautiful Ocean Beach. A wonderful place to catch a glorious sunset on clear days. Great waves during the fall and winter months for surfing if you know what you're doing. Tricky conditions, be careful.

This is a beautiful hike with stunning views. I recommend doing it on a week day since weekends get busy. If you start here you can do the Lands ends trail to the Seacliff area and then walk the California Coastal trial to the Golden Gate bridge!

Muni - public transport

Public bikes
Currently there are public bikes available on the corner of Balboa and the Great Highway. Beware, they may be out but it’s another option if you’re in the area.
