While there are plenty of chain restaurants just 15 minutes away, we prefer to stay close to home where life is a slower pace and nature is your neighbor.
This historic old Inn is a must see. They make the best hamburgers. There is a dinner special every night and live entertainment most nights. Karaoke is on Thursday nights and a piano player during dinner. Check their schedule for weekend bands.

The Pacific Crest Trail which starts in Mexico and ends in Canada runs through Green Valley and up past Lake Hughes. If you like hiking, catch a trial in Green Valley by the forestry station. Even for a short hike the views are fabulous.
