On top of the Torre Latinoamericana, you will have a great view! And this way you save paying the ticket for the viewpoint 😉. Instead, use that money to have a drink or a small snack (the food is average 🙁)

This place is on floor 53 of one of the main buildings on Reforma Avenue. You need to make a booking but the views will amaze you! (Fridays and Saturdays will be more complicated) The food is really tasty!

Gastronomía

In case you want to try authentic Mexican food, come here! They have things like: Tlayuda (it's like a really big tortilla with different toppings), quesadilla of deer meat or turkey with maguey worms, gordita de chicharron (try this one), and many dishes with crickets.

This is another spot for Mezcal tasting. Here the person explains in English. The only downside is that sometimes is packed! And you have to wait.

Quesadillas, pozole, flautas! If you don't want to risk your stomach by trying somewhere else come here! This place started in the garage of a friend and now has several locations. And if you are on a late night and not many places are open: the one in Narvarte neighborhood is 24hrs! 😎

The food is delicious, a little posh, but not pretentious. They have different wines to try. Make sure you made a booking, otherwise, you have to wait or eat in the bar (if they have spots)

I've been here lots of times and definitely, this is my favorite place for seafood! They bring all the sea products fresh from Baja California every day by plane! You will find places like Contramar, Entremar or La Docena, but believe me, this one is better! And if you are into cocktails they have one with Mezcal and hibiscus 🌺! Yumi!

If you are into Mezcal or want to make a tasting, this is your place! You can choose 5 types of Mezcal from a list. If you like cocktails, Frida is a must! Mezcal and passion fruit, serve on a glass trimmed with pepper and salt. If you are hungry try the sample plate: tasajo (meat), crickets, longaniza (like chorizo but softer), Oaxaca cheese, and tortillas!

My favorite place since I was a child! The specialty is “carnitas and cueritos” (pork meat) Is near the airport so if you have to make time, go! Cueritos (the skin of the pork) are so soft that they almost melt in your mouth! The decorations are not my type of thing, but since they are open is like that 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you go here, I'm 100% sure that when you are out the smell of bread will capture, and two locals away is a bakery “Bisquets Mexico” try one! They are amazing!

In this place, they are going to ask you 2 things: How hungry you are? And allergies or food restrictions. The place doesn't have a menu! The chefs prepare something unique every day! Sometimes it will take a while so be patient. 💵 Bring cash as they don't accept credit cards.

As well one of my favorites! Mexican food! My husband loves the Chamorro with mole and the roasted cauliflower! And I love the meatballs with verdolagas (a plant) 😋😋😋 Preferably go on Monday - Friday. Saturday and Sunday it's crowded and the food takes more than usual.
