Things to do (that aren't art!)

In addition to the phenomenal art scene there's so much to do in North Adams and the surrounding area. Here are some off-the-beaten-path ideas.
Though some locals would prefer not to advertise this little trail, it’s perfect for a short, not-too-strenuous hike that’s close to downtown. Easily do the mostly-flat trail in under 2 hours roundtrip. And yes, there’s a real waterfall. Park in the YMCA/Elementary School lot.

New England College Baseball League action comes to Joe Wolfe Stadium every June and July. Watch some of the nation’s elite up-and-coming collegiate ballplayers. Get there early for covered grandstand seats or spread a blanket on the grass down the foul lines.

An aerial adventure park noted by Boston Magazine, The New York Times, and other travel publications. Traverse from tree to tree on a variety of elements like high wires, zip lines, and rope ladders. If you’re the one in the group afraid of heights, stay on the ground and enjoy watching your mates yell “Wahoo!” as they zip by.
