My favorite places to eat.

Mongolian Hot Pot. Opens at 5pm. Typically there's only a 15 minute wait unless it's the weekend, then you need to get there by 6pm. We recommend family style soup which feeds 5 - 6: One side is the "House Original Soup", and the other side is the "OxTail Soup". - Order a meat combo - Order a noodle combo - Order a seafood combo - Order a vegetable combo *Don't be shy to ask the server to add more soup as it does evaporate and you drinking it.* *When dinner is over let the soup cool down and then ask for togo containers for the soups.* *Make your own dipping sauce. My combination simple but tasty: Ponzo Sauce + Garlic + Scallions + Cilantro + a touch of red pepper.

This Chinese noodle place has quickly become a local favorite. You see the cooks making and stretching the noodles by hand and take real Chinese noodles. Lunch time always has a wait. It's a small place.

No other, I repeat, no other Vietnamese noodle place has the tasty broth like Pho So 1. Their fried egg rolls are nothing like any other Vietnamese or Chinese restaurant. Their rice dishes are amazing. There's never really a wait unless it's the weekend evening.

If you want a great piece of Prime Rib then this is the spot. The restaurant is located in a local casino so the price, while still high, is nowhere near what you'd pay on the Strip.

I come here a lot for their Cioppino. Make sure you ask for a side of noodles. Dig in on some oysters. **Remember, Las Vegas gets all their seafood flown in daily. Unless you live on the coast, you're not getting anything fresher because of the combined purchasing power of all the casinos.**

For those who do not have Cafe Rio in their city....GO! My favorite is the Sweet Pork Barbacoa Salad. Get everything on it and get the *HOUSE DRESSING*. They have their giant rotating tortilla heating surface and you see the hardest working employee, who is always this little old lady, hand pressing and working the dough. God bless her.

If you've never had an In-N-Out Burger, and you have the financial means to do so, you should move to a city that has them. If that's not possible then please order the Double Double with grilled or regular onions, ... and your welcome!

So they use this unique cooker that separates the skin from the meat but keeps the flavor and the skin is soooooooo crispy and when you take that bite your mind body and soul is filled with love, and unicorns running around, and fairies flying everywhere, with a hint of Game of Thrones battle scenes.

It's a smaller version of the Valley of Fire but only a 20 minute drive from our home. The view and hiking is great. If you are climbing to the top it will take the first timer about 1 hour.
