Very unique part of Copenhagen. Should very simply be seen. The small island that Christiania is placed on is very charming in itself with old architecture, canals, cafés and lots of life.

This street and Amagerbrogade are the most active streets on Amager. Nice small shops. There's a good butcher's here too: P. E. Larsen. Get your steaks here and prepare them in the apartment?

Large marketplace for second hand stuff. Open at weekends. Most of the stuff sold isn't worth anything, that's what makes the hunting fun. Sellers are locals and doing what they do is a lifestyle.
