Our closest city beach if you want a swim. Mostly no waves. Barbecue facilities are very popular in the summer. Pizza D'Asporto has a kiosk here for food, gelato, coffee. The Rotunda does the usual take-aways.

This is a large beach that is great for longer walks. It has shallow water and several sand banks which makes it great for young children to play in. Pokemon Go are all over the pier. Across the road from this beach is Altona's small shopping strip.
