The world famous Flume Trail bike ride ends here. Also a good hiking spot with spectacular lake views. Great spot for lunch, beer, coffee and local color. Summer offers a weekly farmer's market too!

Oh it's a local's spot but it's worth sometimes being ignored by the harried wait-staff. Food is good and it's cheap. Ask for the top-shelf margarita but make sure you have a designated driver!

Good comfort food! Well known for their corn bread that comes with every order. Fresh and local fare and an outdoor patio in the summertime.

A small spot but there are a few tables inside as well as outside for summer. Known for their excellent burritos even though it's rotisserie. I eat here at least once a week! Green salsa please!

Don't be in a hurry for your caffeine fix here...but do expect one of the best pour-over coffees you'll likely ever experience. No need to go to Starbucks in this town.

A funky place- old fashioned restaurant on one side and drinker's bar on the other (with video poker!). Great patio in the back and dogs are welcome. Food is solid and there's a bit of everything.

Drinks & Nightlife

Fancy a local brew? A bit of a strange location tucked in with car repair shops and boat storage lots but it's worth it for local beer on tap. No food yet but they welcome you to bring your own.

Essentials

Raley's is great for groceries but don't overlook this local market. Excellent meat counter and friendly butcher. The sausages are made in-house and some of the best I've tasted.

Gamble, shop, eat. Great beach-front location too. In the summer it's a great place to rent all manner of water toys.
