The beach access is 1 mile from SeaWatch(by car). Enter just south of the Gualala River Bridge. On the north side of the bridge is a gravel beach for kayak rentals on weekends & in summer. A p[arking pass is hanging in the entry way, must be returned.

Short 5 minutes walk from SeaWatch across the hwy. and behind Sea Cliff center overlooking the beach, surf and river's mouth. Walk past Trink's Cafe in Sea Cliff Center. This is a scenic 1/2 mile easy hike. Sunset is beautiful here.

Short 5 minutes walk from SeaWatch across the hwy. and behind Sea Cliff center overlooking the beach, surf and river's mouth. Walk past Trink's Cafe in Sea Cliff Center. This is a scenic 1/2 mile easy hike. Sunset is beautiful here.

Sightseeing & day trips

Open for viewing. There are also numerous hiking trails and tide pool exploring areas around the lighthouse. To warm up try clam chowder at the Point Arena Cove Chowder House down the road.

See a small commercial fishing port and walk out on the pier for great views. Warm up at Pizza and Cream or The Chowder House nearby. You might be able to buy fresh fish or crab off the boats.

A small, quaint chapel designed in the 70's and built by wood craftsmen. Wonderful for meditating or quiet reflection. If you enjoy craftsmanship this is worth the 15 min. drive south on est side of Hwy. 1.
