A must see or don't come to Vegas. Yes, its just like in the movies. Every hotel casino has some kind of draw...Bellagio fountains, Treasure Island pirate show, Venetian singing gondoliers, and on and on. May not be the best place for kids, but if you're careful in the daytime, its not so bad...

An engineering wonder.... Las Vegas wouldn't be here without it. Go down into inner workings and see giant turbines and discover how they stopped the Colorado River. Beautiful spots for great pictures. Closes at 5pm now.

A real 1800's saloon, as it was when Goodsprings was larger than Vegas. The saloon has bullet holes, ghosts, and a tribute wall to Clark Gable and his wife, Carole Lombard, killed in plane crash. He waited in that saloon until they brought her body down,. They have great burgers there, too. Walk around town and get the feel of an old miner's camp.

Parks & Nature

Can see the red stripe from almost everywhere. Best rock climbing or gentle easy hiking up to a waterfall. Visitors center will give you lots of options in between and the history of the area (think Cowboys, Indians and Horse Thieves). Definitely cooler up there too (may even see snow in early summer)
