I prefer fueling up here. The Pemex guys freaked try to scam people, both locals and foreigners. I have never had this experience at La Gas or Gulf.

This cenote is minutes away. Has a great balcony/deck area for lounging. You will be gobsmacked by the view and the tiny iridescent fish in the water. They GLOW! PS for the brave you can leap off the cliff edge into the water below. Great to watch others do it too.

The closet Mayan/Toltec ruins and the ONLY ones on the ocean. Only 20 mins from the Casita. If you get there early, it's a rather magical experience.

Coba is a Mayan ruin with the highest pyramid on the Yucatan. It is a sight to behold. The entire park is in the jungle and is shade, so it's more comfortable than a lot of other sites. Note- you can no longer climb the pyramid.

The original Xpuha Secret Beach location, good food, busy at times, but still nice- the beach makes up for all of the annoyances. I think $200 to get it, some goes to your food- changes all the time;)
