Food Scene

This is my favourite coffee close to the house - but there are lots of other options. If you're looking for something a little more eclectic then UR cafe just nearby is great too.

Tasty thai-food - the closest to the house. There are others all over Adelaide, but this is the one I go to when I just want take-away & can't be bothered going too far. Really good too!

This is (in my opinion) the best Greek restaurant in Adelaide. It's also in a great location, just near the beach at Henley Square (a really nice beach too).

Partly because Cibo always has decent coffee - but I listed this because it's the land-mark for the turn to get home (a good one to look out for if you're catching the bus)

Gouger Street is our China town street - and BBQ city is my pick of the many cheap and delicious restaurants along the street. Their Salt and Pepper Squid is amazing. This street is amazing!

The best I've had outside of Morocco! Family friendly and family run - the wonderfully kitsch decor gives it a warm vibe and the food is 2nd to none. Belly dancers on saturday nights.

Shopping

I just picked DJs because it's in the middle. This is Rundle Mall - the main shopping street. You can find all sorts of shops/food-courts/cafes and in the small side-streets that branch off it too.

A cute little nick-knacks shop. I listed this is because it's in Rundle Street (as opposed to MALL) - a great place to go for restaurants, shops, coffee, bars. More alternative/indie than the Mall.

Essentials

The closest supermarket to the house. The North Adelaide Village also has a butcher, healthfood shop, fruit & veg shop, pharmacy, cafes and clothing shops. Upstairs is a goodlife gym too.

This is the closest bottle shop to the house - and one of the best wine shops in Adelaide. The staff are really helpful so ask them if you don't know what you want! They sell all booze, not just wine

Closest movie theatre to the house - it's also super cute. A few restaurants on O'Connel Street do movie/dinner deals too.
