The existence of this cave has been known for over a hundred years, when its interior (with its pit-like entrance) hid and sparked interest for its undiscovered secrets and the beauty of its calcite ornaments. From the stories of a treasure hidden by smugglers to the arrival of first visitors, its passages have gradually been adapted for people to move freely. The illumination of the cave has considerably increased interest in the existing wealth of the underground galleries, which abound with numerous stalactites, stalagmites, and calcite columns. Being about 110 m long and having a spacious underground space, the cave's interior thrills with its beauty and impressive precipitated shapes. The temperature in the cave is from 13°C to 15°C throughout the year, and there is only occasional leaking or dripping from the ceiling or humidification during rainy periods. Working hours: April & October 10.00 - 15.00 o'clock May & June 09.00 - 17.00 o'clock July & August 09.00 - 18.00 o'clock September 10.00 - 17.00 o'clock Reception: 00385/98-326-203 Website: www.spilja-biserujka.com.hr Get your tickets here: https://www.getyourguide.com/krk-l105229/krk-biserujka-cave-entrance-ticket-t388613/
