Sometimes a younger crowd depending on music. There are two venues next door to each other. Catch a show at "The Other Side" on the back patio several days a week. Look at Cervante's website for lineup!

This bar is also located on the corner of Race and 17th near the house. It is a very unique bar with excellent cocktails and a beautiful back patio just a 1 minute walk from the house. They are known for their unique decor and infused liquors.

This is a great place to have dinner and catch some live music. It is in the heart of downtown Denver, but only a 5-10 minute Uber ride from the house. The restaurant is a little more upscale. Great music on weekends. Visit their website for the lineup.

Excellent Brewery with great food just two blocks from the house. One of my favorites, and well known in Colorado. Enjoy a local craft on the front patio, play some games on the side patio and occasionally enjoy some live music. Cash only at this place!

Wonderful coffee shop on the corner of 17th and Race St just a half block from the house! Also check out Weathervane Cafe about 3 blocks from the house for something a little smaller. Great patio at St.Mark's!

My favorite vegetarian restaurant in town! Great for non vegetarians too. The brunch, lunch and dinner is incredible! This is about a 25 minute walk or a short Uber ride away. From here it is easy to walk to the 16th street free mall ride to check out the Downtown Denver scene.

This is my favorite Thai food restaurant in town, and it just so happens to be only 1 block from the house. I order the Thai Curry for pickup 3-4 times a week. Cute little front patio.

During the summer you can walk to City Park to catch some free Jazz music every Sunday. There are tons of people drinking beers/wine on the grass, playing games and many food trucks. It is an awesome event (and FREE) which is great for the family.

Getting Around
Union Station is a great spot in the heart of downtown Denver which was just finished in the past few years. Tons of great restaurants and bars in and around Union Station. Catch a direct bus to Boulder for the day which is $8 and leaves every 15 minutes or so (40 minute ride and drops off in downtown Boulder).
