you might have heard of kayser, every parisian has once lined up for an hour to get their 'monge tradition' called after the street. They've since opened a few in paris and a few more abroad, but the real one is 100 meters from home!

That's the gay district, tho every bar or restaurant aren't necessarily gay, a lot of them are, it is also probably the most beautiful neighbourhood in Paris, right across the river, it has even older buildings than the rest of the city and a truly awesome atmosphere. If you're a group of girls trying to get in a gay bar after 11, go to souffleurs or cox ( yes they dared...) because sadly, as men are discriminated at straight clubs in this city, women are too at gay bars and bouncers get pretty aggressive so don't try to force your way in.
