The interior of the restaurant has a 85 foot ridge pole in the main room, the largest known in the US. Serves breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Located at MP 18 on Hwy 26, (between Portland and Seaside) has a gift shop. It used to be a logging camp back in the day. Great place to stop and eat, or just see some of the old logging equipment that was used then. www.camp18restaurant.com

It’s fish and chips done right, with tuna. Open 7 days a week 11AM-7PM. It’s a shack, with a couple of picnic tables, but I recommend that you take it to the cove (off Avenue U in Seaside) and watch the surfers, birds and people.
