Pratomagno is a group of mountains which rises between Valdarno superiore and Casentino to the north-west of Arezzo.
At the peak is the Pratomagno Cross (1.591 m a.l.s.), a monument in iron, red in colour which was inaugurated 15 August, 1928. In 2013 the cross has been restored.
An ideal destination for excursions on foot or mountain bike, the mountain is characterized by pasture land, where in Summer it is easy to meet herds of cattle.
You can admire a panoramic view which opens onto Valdarno, Casentino, the Appennines, Trasimeno lake, the Giotto bell tower in Florence and more
