A butt-kicker hike, but worth it! High elevation gain so be prepared. Dogs allowed on the trail. Recommend that all dogs wear boots due to shale and long hike can damage pads on feet. Leave early and carry plenty of water. 360 degree views at summit of Lake Tahoe and many many alpine lakes and mountains.
