Food Scene

This is our favorite Indian food just about anywhere. We highly recommend their chicken tikka maasala. The owners are super nice. You get to pick how spicy you want to order it.

We love this place for brunch. They provide little bran muffins to get you started and then my husband's favorite is the corned beef hash with really yummy corned beef. If you like a big sweet cappuccino, they have one that's awesome!

This is hands down my favorite sushi places in Salt Lake City. They're often pretty busy and you're limited on call aheads. They get fish there that other area restaurants don't. If they're too busy, I recommend Sapa or Tsunami, which are both good.

A little bit higher end, farm-to-table style food. Everything is so fresh and savory. I highly recommend the beef stroganoff or their french dip sandwich for lunch.

This is a fantastic, locally owned sandwich shop that donates money/food to various causes. Their toasted sandwiches are fresh and delicious.

This is a great little Mexican place not too far from the Airbnb. There's lots of options for made-from-scratch guacamole to go with super awesome street tacos.

A bit more authentic Mexican that's highly rated in the state. They serve mole sauce, which is a chocolate like sauce. Pretty much anything on their menu is tasty.

For a philly cheese steak, Moochie's was featured in Diners, Drive-in, and Dives. They have awesome fries and killer sandwiches.

Drinks & Nightlife

This place is also really good for brunch, but even better a large variety of moscow mules and really tasty bar food. I suggest the poke or burger.

Sightseeing

Mormon or no, it's worth a visit to Temple Square. There you will learn a lot about Utah's history with the pioneers and how the culture has grow. There are movies and tours you can take to learn more.

There's always fun things to do at Liberty Park during fair weather. There's sand volleyball, farmers markets, Tracy's Aviary, and tons of playgrounds.
