The only place in Reykjavik to get authentic Icelandic food! All the classics we often eat like Kjötsúpa (meat soup) and Plokkfiskur (mashed fish). And for the brave, they sell fermented shark and hákarl. It's right across from the church so if you sit upstairs you get a great view.

The bar at KEX Hostel is great. They always have a large variety of beers on draft and bottled. They often have live music as well during the weekend so check their website. They also sell really good food, recommend the baked bone marrow!

The cheapest supermarket in Iceland! Stay away from 10-11 unless your in a real bind (as it is tempting to go there sometimes since it's open 24/7)

Reykjavík is filled with swimming pools, but this is one of my personal favorites! Always recommend trying a few of our swimming pools while in Iceland.
