Food Scene

Best coffee in the city, hands down. Zucchini Chocolate Chip muffins are unreal here. But if you want anything other than that, best to walk around the corner to Purebread Bakery.

This is Jesse's restaurant on the eastside! Great atmosphere, great people, great food, so many craft beers on draft. This place doubles as a neighbourhood bar in disguise. It gets really busy so ask Jesse for a reso!

Small underground (literally) electronic music club. It gets hot and sweaty and dirty. Do not wear heels, wear comfortable dancing shoes. Super fun if you're into that scene like Jen is!

Sightseeing

Walk to the dingy dock at the Plaza of Nations (8 min) and catch a boat ride over to Granville Island! It is great to walk around the market, get a coffee from JJ Bean (our favourite) and check out all the neat shops. There is also a improv comedy sometimes. Check it out online for more info! Note: the market can be quite busy on the weekend! Go early at opening to avoid so many people :)
