Parks & Nature
Just round the corner from the flat (granted, up towards a rather steep incline that is the foot of table mountain) you can access the mountain foothills and paths through the beautiful deer park. Incidentally, the road takes you past the Woodlands Eatery

Neighborhoods
Harrington, Buitenkant and Caledon streets are full of quant bars, shops and restaurants. It also houses the District Six Museum and the Fugard Theatre.
Some of my favourite watering-holes include Surfer Rosa and the tiny cowboy bar called Dust and Dynamite.
