Incredible pizza! The wait is usually around 1-2 hours to get in but you can wait in the backyard and people watch while you're waiting. Happy hour is from 5-7 on weekdays. They also deliver!

Really outstanding sushi! They have really fresh ingredients and innovative food. On the pricey side of things, but worth it. Beautiful tables as well.

This might be the best coffee within walking distance. The entrance is hard to find, very narrow green hall facing Knickerbocker Avenue OR accessible from the inside of all those Loom shops.

This is a tiny gem, perfect for a date! A touch expensive but only because it's VERY high quality/classy vietnamese food- and a bit of a scene. I truly love Falansai and the super nice owner.

Balls of rice deep fried and $3. No more to say on this! Open very late and directly next door to a (semi-scary) bar called the Wreck Room.

Delicious Mexican food! Fast, cheap, really nice people. They deliver but I always go in to watch the soap operas that play in the background.

Drinks & Nightlife

This is a "secret" bar and is semi-difficult to find because it has no marking on the front. Write down the address and find it! They make delightful cocktails and have a great backyard.

This is a dive bar. Pretty loud but dark and hip, the bartenders aren't very friendly. For that (and a better happy hour) go to Pine Box.

Thrift store! I think there are three in a row here. This one is the kind where if you look hard you can find really cool things that aren't at a soho thrift store price.

Essentials

The people that run this little deli are really nice. The beer is also cheaper than at Brooklyn Natural, (the other quite similar deli/grocery store one block away).
