The best little zoo, this takes about 2-4 hours to get through. Many shady and indoor areas to keep cool.

Sightseeing

A very fun museum for any age, but especially for families. The original home of Dr. Pepper, the main buidling was mostly destroyed in the 1950's by a tornado.

Parks & Nature

You can drive through and stop at the numerous viewpoints along the way. The hiking/biking/horseback trails are moderate to strenuous if you get off of the main river trail. Watch for wildlife--armadillos, deer, road runners, etc. There will be occasional snakes.
