Getting Around

We mainly walk, or get Santander bikes around - there are loads nearby. Tube: there are 4 tube stations within 15 mins walk: the nearest is Lambeth North Tube (8 min walk). This is on the Bakerloo line, so easy for Paddington, Oxford Circus etc (North). Kennington is close by (10 min). On the Northern line. Good for Clapham and Tooting (south); Kingscross (North) Vauxhall (15min) is on the Victoria line and overland. Waterloo (15 mins) – overland to most of the South East England (eg Hampton Court; Richmond; Kew Gardens). Also on the Northern, Jubilee and Bakerloo line. So good for Greenwich, Stratford etc.

Waterloo is a really well connected train station. other transport options: Buses: Buses go from Kennington Road, pretty much at the end of our road. Number 3, 59, 159 go to Brixton. (15-20 mins). 360 goes to South Kensington (eg Natural History Museum) and Royal Albert Hall. But it's probably quicker to cycle. Taxi: If you aren't logged onto Uber already – use our code (kvvu4): this will give you a free ride for up to £10. Most uber rides to central London come in at about £8-12. Boat: You can also get a boat from either Vauxhall or by the London Eye. Boat is a nice way to get to Greenwich and see the sights on the way.
