I love St. Mark's Place (E8th St, 3rd Ave). There are a lot of Japanese restaurants and Chinese as well. The place I like to go is Xi'an Famous Food and a Japanese market called Sunrise.

Go there in summer night or dusk, it's perfect to enjoy the wind and free mind. If winter, the Christmas tree is beautiful and skating is fun. Near Time Square, but not that busy.

Near Fifth Ave, you'll see the famous Flatiron Building and creative exhibitions there. Sometimes, models there to take photos for some reason. Also, there is a Lego flagship store.

Food Scene

The most authentic Sichuan food that I've tasted in New York. Very good place for people who love Chinese spicy food. 10% or 20% discount (I can't remember) if paid by cash and free orange.

The restaurant that me and my friend went most for hanging out. Typical Shanghai food in East Village and soup dumpling is 5 star. And the famous dessert store "The Spot" is just under the restaurant
