The World Famous BIG NICKEL This site is a nice walk from my house. it is a world class site about mining with Underground exhibits, remote control machinery you can play with, a nice exhibit of minerals on the wall, and a gift store. its makes for an enjoyable afternoon. this Big Nickel site is part of Science North.

Parks & Nature

Fielding Park is nice all year round. it has ploughed roads in the winter which makes it safer than sidewalks to walk on. there are many swans, ducks and geese that are here all year round. not always geese but they return in the spring for sure.

Fielding Memorial Park

A nice place to go walk and see ducks, geese, swans. The ducks and swans are there through the winter also.. There is a walking trail and it is only minutes from my house.
