You can't go wrong with the clafouti (fruit tart). But the almond chocolate croissants are also fantastic, as are the chocolate pepper cookies.

I read recently that their hamburger was voted #2 in Toronto. It's a blend of steak, beef cheek, provolone cheese, and gochujang (Korean pepper sauce).

There are lots of good Korean restaurants in the neighbourhood, but this is my favourite. They're always busy. Dolsit bibimbap (hot stone pot rice) is super hot, so the rice gets nice and crispy.

Pomegranate serves very flavourful Persian food, primarily stews and rice. Its sister restaurant upstairs, Sheherzade, serves excellent grilled meats.
