Food Scene

Great "New American" food in a good setting just a few blocks away. The Big Ragout is absolutely divine. No beers on draft but decent bottled selection.

Located in the busy Midtown shopping center, this is one of my favorites. Like the name says, lots of cheeses. Sandwiches and salads are just awesome.

Good food that's reasonably priced, especially if you go when they have their specials. One downside is that the service is really slow.

Definitely the best coffee in Miami. Roast it right there in the shop. Not the best seating, and not much food to speak of, but it's really, really good.

Drinks & Nightlife

Probably won't find a better selection of good draft beers in Miami in this kind of setting. You can still smoke inside, for better or worse...

Another good bar on Miami Beach. They even have some house brews that are pretty darn good.

One of the biggest selections of bottled beers I've seen. They have some decent ones on draft too. Would not recommend eating here, though. Overpriced and not that good.

Not in the best part of town, but a good dive bar that's been here for ages. Good prices on beer though, and one of the few places to catch a soccer game on Saturday mornings.

Didn't know whether to classify as coffee shop or bar. Good ambiance, coffee is okay, bottled beers are pretty good, once in a while they give out free pizza, but all in all a good place to hang out.

Only been here once. It looks awesome from the outside and awesome seating area out back. Pretty decent beers and mixed drinks, but a little pricey and it can get pretty crowded.
