There is always some strange story you can find in the many plaques and signs in this area. Great to walk around and absorb it all. There is Tebbetts Observatory, Old court houses, old pubs and churches. In St Matthew’s Church graveyard there are lots of first fleeters buried. At Thomson’s square you can read about the last man to be hung in a public square in Australia. The Doctors house you can look up the story of Dr Fiaschi or visit his winery at Tizzana Winery
