The Pannonian lakes complex is your first stop while exploring the city, either in summer or winter. It is located in city center and consists of three lakes of various depth and size, salt waterfalls and water slides. Within the Pannonian Lakes Complex there is an archaeological park, outdoor fitness center, sand court for beach volleyball, children’s amusement park, caffes and restaurants and other entertaining facilities. Besides the pleasure of bathing, this water has healing properties, particularly for rheumatic and respiratory diseases. The water in the lakes constantly circulates and is filtrated with sand filters. Pannonian lakes have an area of about 17,000 m² with a beach length of 1,000 m, and decorated space area of 60,000 m². The salinity of the water corresponds to seawater and is 30-40 gr./l. The Pannonian lakes complex is not less attractive in winter, since it offers a beautiful scenery for walking as well as an ice rink.

It offers beautiful park areas, ponds and rich vegetation. Visitors can enjoy the Ringispil restaurant, a large indoor kids playroom, three outdoor playgrounds with slides, as well as fun content on the water. For fans of sports and recreation, there is a football field and quad bikes. The zoo is open all year round, while the working hours during the summer are longer. The entrance for children up to the age of 12 is free, and for persons older then 12, the entrance is just 1 EUR. The prices in the Zoo restaurant are pretty low.

The menu offers a good choice of dishes, with an accent on grilled specialities. You can enjoy unfiltered beer directly from the nearby brewery. Something I wolud recommend is chicken with vegetables, grilled bread, Ajvar and caramel cake. There is live music on friday and saturday. The pub is open till 9 pm. Please not that the place is usually pretty full in the evening, and the parking space is very limited.

The Restaurant Zlatnik is located right on the entrance to the Slanja Banja Complex. It is one of better restaurants in Tuzla, with a nice garden. After the meal, you can take a walk on the Slana Banja. It is not far from the old town too. The prices are moderate. There are some parking lots, but they are occupied most of the time, so better you take a walk or a taxi.

After the meal, you can take a walk on the Slana Banja. It is not far from the old town too. The prices are moderate. There are some parking lots, but they are occupied most of the time, so better you take a walk or a taxi.

A big CineStar 3D cinema located on the top floor of the Bingo City Center. Fun for the whole family. You can reserve or buy the tickets online. If you arrive by car, there is a huge underground garage in the center. You can take a taxi too, since taxi in Tuzla is very cheap.

Strike! A big new bowling alley located on the top floor of the Bingo City Center on the western outskirts of the city. Beside the bowling alley, there are many more entertainment games, like billard, table tennis ect. It is on the end of the hallway, you pass all the restaurants on the top floor. Working hours are from 9.00 till 23.00 (Sunday till 22.00). You can reach the City Center by car or take a taxi, which is always a better idea since it is very cheap.

Getting around
Taxi is just a bit pricier then bus
There are several taxi companies in Tuzla which operates non-stop. You can order a taxi on your adress by calling any of this phone numbers: 1517, 1501 or 1525. If the operator do not speak your language, tell him "TREBA MI TAXI NA ADRESU --" (which means "I need a taxi on the following adress ---). The operator will tell you in how many minutes the taxi will pick you up (usually 10). You can order a taxi up to 15 minutes before you need one. Prepare enough change in BAM. You can expect to pay 5 BAM for shorter distances and a maximum of 10 BAM from one side of the city to another (2022).
Getting around
Parking Meters
Throughout the city you will find parking meters. The price for zone 2 is 0,50 BAM per hour, zone 1 is 1 BAM per hour and zone 0 is 2 BAM per hour. Sunday and holiday is free of charge, except the parking of Pannonian Lakes in the summer season. Push the big green button, throw the exact ammount of money in the parking meter (I think it does not return the change), and push the green button again, get your ticket, and put the ticket VISIBLE inside the windscreen of your car!
Getting around
Parking in Shopping Centers
If you get to one of the following shopping centers by your car: Bingo City Center, Omega or Mercator, please not that the parking is free for 2 hours. Keep your ticket you get on the entrance of the parking. If you exceed the time limit, look for a parking ticket machine which are usually located on the exit of the shopping center. In that case, put your ticket inside the machine, and the ammount you need to pay extra for parking will be shown on the display, put that ammount inside the machine, and you will get your ticket validated (do not forget to take the ticket from the machine).
