It has everything you could ever want to eat. The food is really good, but also pretty expensive. If you want to go grocery shopping to save some dough, go to the HEB on Riverside or Oltorf.

Lots of high-end retail and nice restaurants.Several of my favorites: Lamberts (best all you can eat brunch), Moody Theater (best concert venue), and Taverna (Best $1 mimosas).

My favorite vietnamese food in the city. They do light/veggie dishes well but if you want to be painfully content, go for the #95. Combination Fried flat noodles in brown sauce. Delicious.

Really good and inexpensive mediterranean food. Go for the classic Gyro plate, and you'll get out of there under $7. Amazing.

If you're itching to put on your skinny jeans and ironic T's, this is the first place you'll want to show them off. But, the real hipsters have probably moved on to a place we don't even know about.

Less club music and more seating than East 6th, but its still pretty rowdy. Try Kung Fu Lounge or Star Bar. Woodrow's is great too, but only serves beer/wine. Rattle Inn is new and has a great deck.
