Avoid leaving anything inside the cabin of your car or trunk
If you have the opportunity to drop off your belongings, please do so. Vehicle theft is at an all-time high. Criminals tend to look for out-of-state plates and those who look like tourists. Park inside a covered parking lot if you have the option even though it costs money.
