Places to drink

The best whisky bar in the world (personal opinion) and right in the city centre. The staff are all friendly, even if you don’t like whimsy they’ll find something you should try.

Traveler advice

Don't miss

The red bus tour

If you’ve never been to glasgow before, the red bus tour is a brilliant way to see the city in a day, learn about its history, whilst jumping on and off at your chosen sights.
Getting around

The underground

Shields Rd underground is only a few minutes walk from my flat so it’s perfect for getting you to shopping hub in the centre via Buchanan street or the St Enoch Centre, or you can get over to the West End and visit Kelvingrove galleries via Kelvinhall station, or go drinking down Ashton Lane via Hillhead station.
