Pablo's is famous for it's unique pizza combinations. A little pricier than mainstream pizza joints but so worth it! We Love the Cowboy made with barbecue sauce. They also have calzones and local beer and wine.

This park and amphitheater is a relatively new addition to GJ. Located right next to the river, it is a great place to see live music. It is also a nice place to just get to the river and walk or bike at the Riverfront Trail.

There are a number of places to access the Riverfront Trail System, the easiest one is the south end of 7th street. This dead-ends to a parking area next to be Botanical Garden. This is a great place to walk or bike if you prefer level, paved trails. This trail goes for miles!!

The Grand Mesa is the largest flattop mountain in North America! Take a drive up there to escape the summer heat (bring your bug spray). It is also the home of the Powderhorn Ski area. There are also many great trails up there for hiking and XC skiing in the winter. If you are here in the fall, definitely check out the fall colors!!

There are two entrances to the Colorado national Monument. The east entrance is closer to to Grand Junction. There are amazing canyons and rock formations and the area is popular with road bikers, hikers, and rock climbers. The visitors center is on the Fruita side of the Monument.
