Take a step back in time to when small business meant "small" business. The store is owned and operated by "Claude" who I am sure has a last name, but no one seems to know or care! :-) He cooks great food Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! They even have spirits! Glenwoodgeneralstore.com

What's better than to drive beautiful rural roads and end up at a great place to eat! This place has been there almost as long as The Logs Inn. Make sure you call ahead for available hours! 509-395-3667.

City/town information
Glenwood is a step back in time, when people waved at each other (with their whole hand) as they passed by. :-) So many other small towns have been swallowed up by e-commerce, Glenwood is thriving! We not only have a gas station, we have a general store! :-)

The Drive to Goldendale
The drive from the cabin to Goldendale is stunningly beautiful no matter what time of year. The road winds its way through the Klickitat River gorge, providing amazing views of the meandering river below. If the drive makes you thirsty (like it does us), stop in at The Dirty Cowgirl to solve that problem!
Don't miss
Leidl Park
On your way to Goldendale you will cross over the Klickitat River at Leidl Park. I know, it looks like they needed to by a vowel, right? It's a beautiful park with only rustic amenities, but well worth spending some with you feet in the water!

Glenwood Valley Overlook
This location sports the perfect view of the Glenwood Valley with beautiful Mt Adams in the background. From the cabin, head south. Veer left at the first intersection and head up Fisher Hill Rd.
