This is one of our favourite spots. Driving down Redrooffs you'll come across Welcome Beach Rd. Drive a little bit past the turn to do a U turn down Welcome Beach Rd otherwise it's very sharp! Great swimming spot. SUP spot. Kyak launch spot. Evening fire spot. Note: fires are only allowed during certain times of the year. Also there are no washroom facilities down there.

A local haunt. At the end of Frances Rd keep walking down the path. You'll come across a set of wooden stairs, approximately 14 of them will take you down to a gorgeous spot. Rarely do we see anyone else down there. And if you're lucky you'll spot dear frolicking or a pod of orcas swimming by. :) You can walk from the Tin Can down Redrooffs, and turn left down Frances. Or drive and park at the top along Redrooffs.

Coopers Green is a lovely spot to sit and watch the ocean. Launch your SUP from here or your kayaks. Have a fire at the pit next to our little rec centre. During the year there are little community festivals at this location. Note: There is a proper boat Launch here if you have a boat.

The Halfmoon Bay General Store is a great meeting spot. It's going through a transformation so unfortunately the cafe is no longer functioning. Big plans are ahead for this historic spot to include licensed pub and gathering spot and hopefully the cafe will be back. If you walk down towards the water there is a patch of beach we like to go to . Check it out! Also if you keep walking down the gravel road you'll end up at The Government Dock. This is where we launch our crab traps and in the summer our boys dock jump along with their friends and strangers who in the end become friends! Great spot in the summer to hang and watch and launch yourself into the water!
