Sightseeing
The Beltline is a project to create a walking & biking path connecting the primary areas of Atlanta. Right now, the project has a 2 mile stretch from Midtown to Inman Park that I’d highly recommend, and will eventually span 22 miles around Atlanta! To get on the Beltline, walk (or drive) to 10th & Monroe. The Beltline starts right across the street from Park Tavern, behind the Trader Joe’s parking lot. Bring some money with you in case you get hungry/ thirsty (I highly recommend you try the King of Pops!

Although Atlanta is not recognized for its art scene, the High Museum of Art is the place to go for contemporary and classic art. The exhibits change with the season, so there is always something new to view. The building in itself is architecturally stimulating. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop, where you can find unique items to take home, with varying price tags!

Inspired by the sci-fi classic Blade Runner, this futuristic Westside cocktail den offers plenty of “photo ops” thanks to its “moody”, “dystopian” atmosphere created by concrete walls, industrial elements and sleek neon lighting; the high-concept approach extends to “artistic” beverages, including shareable drinks, and a brief menu with nods to Asian street fare.

Visit Monday's for ping pong, Tuesdays for tarot readings and Wednesday for church-organ karaoke. Order the sangria, and be sure to eat the macerated fruit for an extra kick.
Why a must? Church is all about the atmosphere. Religious-based folk art adorns the walls, and walks the fine line between adoration and blasphemy.
