A beautiful castle 23 miles from the house. As well as the inside of the castle there are also lots of outdoor grounds to explore at anytime of year but perfect for a picnic in the summer.

A medieval market town which is lovely to walk around & explore. There are plenty of really good restaurants & cafes, but the best bit is all the antique shops. Just 30 minutes drive across the marsh.
