City/town information

Eureka Springs is also known as "Little Switzerland". This tiny hilly town is full of preserved Victorian buildings, famous turn of the century hotels with spas like the Crescent Hotel and Basin Park Hotel, natural springs, excellent shopping, and much more. Don't miss the Thorncrown Chapel where we were married. It is a striking stone and glass chapel back into the woods with free admission. Fay Jones has won many architectural awards for it. Get there before 3:00 because there are many weddings there. There is also a wild cat sanctuary, Turpentine Creek, zip lining, The Great Passion Play, ATV rentals, etc. Wonderful restaurants are there too! Our favorites are Emilios, Mud Street Cafe, Local Flavor, and Sparky's. Our home is close to the bridge that leads to Eureka Springs. It is just 32 miles away.
