This is where you will be staying. It is a point of interest for most although it is a gated community. This is where you can find the now famous Bridge Cabin, the most unique and contemporary cabin the Caribbean. Design and built by Artist GA Gardner

Great area for photos and just soaking in the fresh air. Although the Bridge Cabin is in this area you will find that every turn on this road brings a new adventure. This is a challenging drive and for experienced drivers only. You don't need a 4x4 but be careful.

about 5 min drive from the popular Las Cuevas Beach you will find the Las Cuevas, a preferred beach by some. The water is calmer on that side. It is also a great long beach to walk along the shores.

This is on the other side of town at least an hour away from the Beach Cabin but it is also a popular beach for locals. It is close to a golf course and hiking trails along the way. If you love the beach and want to see the best sunset in Trinidad over the beach I will recommend this one.

Accessible via the Bridge Cabin compound is Saut D'eau Beach. Can drive or hike down to this beach which is about a mile downhill in the gated complex. This is a remote beach and although it is not a "private beach" it is as private of a beach as you will find in Trinidad

Hike or bike

Well, this is a wonderful way to get your Sunday or any day you visit started. It is about an hour's drive from the Cabin and near to several beaches along the way. It is a great place to hike to the top and see the old radio tower. Watch out for the bike riders on the hill and take lots of water. It is a real climb to the top. Or you just hang around the base and take photos of the green lush bamboo.
