A traditional Mexican architecture neighborhood with lots of character. A beautiful place to stroll and take in the historic Tucson feel. The TCC destroyed most of this area during it's construction in the 70's-80's, but enough is still there and is a must explore whilst in Tucson.

Traveler advice

Don't miss

Take a drive up Mt. Lemmon

Considered a "Sky Island" due to the biologically diverse life that exist in zones as you drive up. Starting with desert and ending in pine trees all within 24 miles to nearly 10,000 feet of elevation. A series of these Sky Islands in southern Arizona make the Sonoran Desert the most biologically diverse desert in the World.
